On my last blog post, somebody pointed out that Bailey and Charlie both end with the same sound. They thought that Amanda and I should have some more variety in the names of our future children.

Well, I have some bad news for you, Space-Man37. Our fourth child is going to be named Riley. That’s right, we’re using that ending sound again. I guess we really like it. You’ll just have to get over it and move on.

Sorry for that strange beginning to this post, George. For those not in the know, George is what I call my fanbase. Here on my second blog, we like to drink carbonated beverages together and get a little freaky. I hope that’s okay with you. If not, you can always have a look for my first blog.

Anyway, this will be the last post about painting the rooms in my new house. First though, I feel like I need to mention that we have to order plaster repair again. I thought Amanda couldn’t swing a sledgehammer. She thought she could. Next minute, we had another hole in the wall. So yeah, there’s that.

Okay, so, what are Amanda and I planning for Riley’s room? We want Riley to grow up to be a doctor. We’re going to be painting their bedroom like a busy hospital waiting room. The interior painting services from the Melbourne area we got did a fantastic job at getting the sterile white of the walls right. Now Amanda and I will paint over the walls with chairs and people. The hope is that Riley will feel so bad for them that they want to become a doctor to help. When Riley graduates from medical school we will reveal that the people were fake the whole time.

Obviously, Riley would have figured that out by then. But most likely our kids will feel sorry for us and pretend that it is this big revelation. It will be very amusing to us.
